Undinist 20 Posted August 4, 2017 I was told once by a so-called expert at Watchguru that elf 'n safety rules prevented mfrs from using tritium paint back in the '80s or '90s. Or at least I think that's what he said. But I've just discovered a watch with tritium paint made in 2008. Shurely shome mishtake? Unless maybe the mfr was using up a stock of dials painted some years before?
edwinowl 180 Posted August 4, 2017 Sometime in the 90s I believe but not sure about all manufacturers.

greg_r 81 Posted August 4, 2017 Depends on the manufacturer. Most stopped by the late 90s/early 2000s, but a few continued to use it well after that (I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that CWC was one of those who continued for a while).

fatarms 7,777 Posted August 4, 2017 Loving the look of that Daynight Recon (last pic).... Just a couple years ago, those sold for something around $500-600 and I considered getting one then, now they're about $1000.
