Anyway just wanted to share my two new favourites (for the week ) SOH and a homage pilot. I made these 2 custom mahogany dye straps over the last 2 weeks, and finally mounted and proud to show off. Kutio 0 Posted April 2, 2011 Thanks for the comments guys. I am infact a strap maker but not by profession. I make strap casually as a hobby and quite often list them on sale over various forums. I'm most active usually on RG. Anyway these 2 are among the three I made recently. It's custom dyed mahogany myself hence the very special rich colours. All 3 are croc belly dyed mahogany + application on leather sheen gloss finish and all sealed in by oil. Edges are thick brown edge finish. All 3 looks different. As you see here 1 is full leather padding for the pilot with thin white stitching tappered 24/22, the other has half leather padding with thick black stitching. The third was a PAM style thick no padding 24/24 with has been sold instantly. Because I make strap as a hobby, most of my straps are fuelled by creativity and exotic skins and theme oriented creations. I love to challenge the eyes.
