Griffo 6 Posted September 28, 2017 We all have boxes of watches that don't get much wear, and i know some of you also switch watches every day (sometimes more than once a day!). I thought it would be cool to get a watch from your collection and wear it all week next week. Better if it's one that doesn't get much rotation and may make you realise what you loved about it when you first purchased it! Who's up for it, and what are you going to wear? I'm gonna' wear the PAM 416 next week, which i won in the supporter competition, as i haven't worn it a lot yet. I'll more than likely be wearing it on the rubber strap. BadApple 13,081 Posted September 28, 2017 I'm off with my PAM360 - it's comfortable and a looker - it's manual as well so I need to remember to wind it up!!!

Nice, that's a looker indeed! How come it's not in usual rotation? Too many watches?

Genius 281 Posted September 28, 2017 I like the idea of this.... But got too many to devote a full week to any of them.... Did 4 days with a mickey invicta last week, and 5 days with a seamaster pro the week before so now I got a drawer full of watches feeling neglected... Maybe I'll play next year

Thommo82 1,397 Posted September 29, 2017 I've tried doing this and never get past 2 days. Had thoughts of having certain watches for certain days of the week. That didn't work either. But im always up for a challenge, so I'll check my watch boxes tonight and decide on the lucky winner

Left Coast Guy 24 Posted September 29, 2017 I'm not sure I could make it either....too fickle. What I do, every two weeks or so I'll take out three watches that maybe don't see much wear and leave them on top of the box, then throughout the course of the week, that's what I'll grab more often than not so they get some wear. Not foolproof, but helps to get some wrist time. The ones that languish are the dress watches. I've got AP 15400 with Prof xstal that's never made it out of the house! Hard to slap that on for casual tuesday in the office...
greg_r 81 Posted September 29, 2017 Wear the same watch for a whole week? Sorry, never gonna happen
MAJ75 922 Posted September 29, 2017 It's a nice idea in theory, but I love having a true rotation...... I don't wear any watch two days consecutively & I never wear two different watches in any one day (just my own preference)........ I also don't like the idea of any one watch not being worn within two weeks of the last wear.........
MetalMickey 179 Posted September 29, 2017 I do it once a month - but only if I have something new or a free sample http://wristwatchreview.co.uk/category/reviews/a-week-on-the-wrist
Mr_B 2,401 Posted September 29, 2017 I wore my ROO panda for two weeks straight as I was after one for a long time but after that i change to another one every couple of days. It always is the case when a new one arrives, always get a prolonged amount of wristime before going into rotation.
Griffo 6 Posted September 29, 2017 Looks like i'm going to have to change my watch to an AP Diver. Due to arrive Monday

GenTLe 1,509 Posted September 29, 2017 I always use a weekly rotation Each watch stays on my wrist one full week, apart the gold plated ones that I tend to wear just on certain occasions.
