watch strap holders DIY

Went to the flea market today and bought three vintage book covers.

They cost me only 7€ and were in good condition (real leather).

With some glue, rubberband normally used by tailors and a bit sewing I made these strap holders.

The straps overkill in my old cigar box is averted...

My wife is glad, because the watch display looks tidier now. (I'm still wanting a walk-in watch display)

When I saw the first picture I imagined you cut the lovely covers

There are lovely and function...handsomely presented.

Very clever idea.

Yeah, didn't think about posting it when I started work.

Afterwards, I was happy with the result and wanted to let you know.

But I only added two pieces of that textil/rubber band for each cover.

So you can imagine...
