Takken 0 Posted April 3, 2011 Measuring almost 60 mm this should be like carrying a tank around on your wrist
greg_r 83 Posted April 3, 2011 It's still a little smaller than a Panerai Big Egi.... A whole lot uglier too
Scavolas 0 Posted April 3, 2011 As I can see it is able to take your temperature as well, so much as the humidity. Wonder how the barometer was left out, LOL. No barometer, no game, I guess... solkryssare 109 Posted April 3, 2011 That is extremely ugly and size compensating

myaz 3 Posted April 3, 2011 -can temperature be anywhere near acurate this close to a warm blooded wrist? -is it water resistant and still able to gauge vapor saturation?
omni 6 Posted April 3, 2011 -can temperature be anywhere near acurate this close to a warm blooded wrist?-is it water resistant and still able to gauge vapor saturation? Purely just a gadget selling point. I agree its ugly. Website says its 3 ATM water resistant, splash proof, not made for use in water, mineral crystal. Germasian branded watches. Lots of 55 X 50 tonneau shape cases too on the website. Too big, size compensating? I do own a Glycine Airman 7 that's similar although cleaner looking at 53mm, but the case height is short, its waterproof & swiss.

Amazing to have a water resistant watch be able to measure humidity.
MikeMcNair 0 Posted April 3, 2011 i actually think the thermometer is pretty cool, but i am unclear if it take YOUR temp, or AMBIENT temp.
wizawuza 0 Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) if it's designed to take YOUR temp and has a range of -30C to 60C, then someone made a huge mistake on the planning committee Edited April 4, 2011 by wizawuza

Kutio 0 Posted April 4, 2011 You just can't do dress style watch with croc at that size, all wrong. IMO larger the watch, the more simple the dial need to be to maintain balance. Eg Egi, IWC BP. The busy dials that large just starts to look cheap.
KeNnY 29 Posted April 4, 2011 Kutio good point. the dress watches should be elegant, simple, shiny.
Mystery Shopper 5,887 Posted April 4, 2011 The bloke that services my gens told me last week that watch fashion was heading back to the 70s in his opinion. Many large dials to choose from.
NFleischer 4,355 Posted April 4, 2011 You mean dials are getting bigger?? Most watches now are at least 42mm. For me 44-45 is tops.

Kutio 0 Posted April 4, 2011 Some how iPhone just posted same message!! 42, 44, 45mm is not too bad. It's probably the normal size these days. I was talking about 50mm + Watches at that size is hard to maintain elegance since the size already give a sence of novelty.
stolikat 1 Posted April 4, 2011 I like a big watch but there is a limit. I would not go any bigger than 47mm I don't think. The Subzilla is about as big as I want on my wrist it is by far the most commented on watch I have ever owned.
