McGilli 1 Posted November 2, 2017 I'm waiting for a watch to arrive which has a PVD coating including the bracelet. Looking at older watches I have, the clasp area is usually the most scuffed up over time from repeated bumping and resting against various desks and other surfaces. I'm looking to hear from people who've had PVD coatings and found it durable, not durable or anything in between. Of course - photos would be superb if you could please

SliceMaster 281 Posted November 4, 2017 Got this fantasy Sub maybe 4 years ago and even with a lot of wear outdoors the coating is still so nice hardly a mark on it

gmchris 68 Posted November 4, 2017 Not sure if PVD is the same as ION coated, maybe someone here can educate me, but I had this Accurist recently but moved it on, too big. It looks more grey than black, almost like a translucent coating on the stainless, and a bugger to photograph.
