A little strap help

I got my Breitling from Mary and I havent had a strap like it before. Have i got it right in the photo or am I doing it wrong?

That looks right. Is there a keeper to the left of that pic? if so it's correct.

No, no keeper. The band slides in and is held by the metal section below "manufacture" written on the clasp

Yeah, I remember now. You got it right. Only ever owned one of those types of breit bands and it was 2 years ago.

it is correct and it is secure.

when the watch is on the wrist the angle of the strap will lock it secure with friction...

It's a friction fit strap - I have this on my white SOSF and Skyland v3.
