trailboss99 994 Posted January 23, 2018 Hey guys, the tech team are progressing nicely with the theme and look and feel stuff and I'm plugging thru trying to get permissions set up. The guys have done a crapload of coding to make us a nice new home, not sure they slept last night, I suspect not. I'm about 2/3 rds of the way thru user permissions, To give you an idea there are about 100 to 110 radio buttons and text boxes per user group and we have 47 of them . . . Rob I believe is about to start on the forum permissions which matrix in with the user group ones so hopefully by the time DR3M3L and co finish their bits we will have the nuts and bolts sorted. When we reach that point we will let a few folk in for some testing to iron out the bugs (mostly permissions related stuff) before we move the lot to the new servers (yes, better servers again) and open her up. Please don't''t ask me how long, I can't answer but it's a hell of a lot closer than even a couple of days ago. Share this post Link to post

What is the OS for your servers? It depends on which server- we use a stack of instances in a local network. As for webservers we use CentOS. 1a.) Do you need any help? So far we're on schedule as for the server environment. We do however search for someone who's able to write SASS code to speed up front-end development. 2.) What is your "updated" hardware? Full cloud based stack with a loadbalancer, search query server, database master/slave server, 2 webservers (3rd and 4th added on the fly), caching server and a file server. 2a.) Are you interested in any hardware donations? We're located in two very well known data centers. 3.) What was the database format? MySQL 3a.) What format were you converting to?
