I read elsewhere that the only difference would be corrosion resistance, but before that I'd read improved resistance to scratches. Ross29 0 Posted December 25, 2017 (edited) Most people say they can't see the difference, but for those who can spot the difference, it's the only detail that is an immediate tell with no remedy, gen dial and crown or not. One of the details that always bothered me. This is a definite game changer for me though and I'm sure plenty others. People will notice that steel, way before they get close enough to notice that gen dial and crown. Of course only .0 something % of the population, but hey... to each his/her own I guess. mech500 0 Posted December 25, 2017 Complete game changer. Everything looks perfect to me EXCEPT the hands. Hands are standard rep hands (flat and not 3D like gen). Apart from that the watch is spot on. Excellent crystal and cyclops black hole: ARF 904L vs Gen 904L (hulk):Gen hulk 904L (top) vs ARF (bottom):^there IS a different between gen and rep 904L and quality of finish/brush BUT ARF is orders of magnitude better than usual dull Noob finish. Dial surrounds are nice (very nice) but are a little flat compared to gen. only TC KH was able to nail the 3D hands and hour surrounds. Rehaut engraving is very good. ARFSD4k vs GenSD4k vs Genestein 1665:Overall an amazing rep. Much better than anything I have seen from Noob. If they can improve dial and hands (to match TC KH quality), then this would be perfect! Rokerite 2,437 Posted December 25, 2017 Regarding "3d hands", I have Noob Yacht Master rhodium latest version and the hands on it are more 3d than on any other Noob watches I have.
