Suk 0 Posted December 24, 2017 Hi, I’m seriously thinking about buying a explorer 214270 v2 JF sh3132. Cause it is described as super rep in some forums and I like its simplicity and elegance. Here you can find a link. https://www.intime02.co/rollie/3291-explorer-i-214270-2016-baselworld-39mm-v2-jf-1-1-best-edition-on-ss-bracelet-sa3132.html I’ve search in the forum about the Sh3132 movement but I did not find a lot. It says that it is a good movement but needs to be serviced straight after receiving it. In some dealers it is also announced as SA3135. Do you have more experience about that movement? Reliability? Maintenance? Spare parts? Thanks and merry Christmas Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Share this post Link to post
Oris 421 Posted December 24, 2017 (edited) I have the 214270 JF V2 with SH3132. It's a great watch. I wear it nearly every day. Movement is almost a straight up Rolex clone and accepts most gen parts. Touch wood, I've found mine to be very accurate and reliable. Gains around 2 seconds per day. As far as I am aware, the watch hasn't been serviced. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Case, bracelet and dial on this watch is beautiful too, and well worth it. Here's mine. Foxindebox 462 Posted December 24, 2017 I may be way off the mark but I believe they are two different movements. Not sure which one, but one can use gen parts. Please correct me if I am wrong. Share this post Link to post

Please correct me if I am wrong. SA movements takes almost no gen parts, iirc it takes gen reverse gears only. SH = Yuki and it takes many gen parts, though I don't know the detailed list. Neither SA nor SH takes gen balance. Share this post Link to post
BM284 1,518 Posted December 24, 2017 I have the JF Explorer 214270 V1 with the SH3132 movement - absolutely brilliant rep and has been my daily work watch for a while. From what I've read these movements are able to take the gen parts - I'll post a movement shot later Share this post Link to post

BM284 1,518 Posted December 24, 2017 Case back off showing the movement .... The obligatory wristy... And the festive lume shot... I really enjoy this wearing this and until picking this one up was hell bent on trying to get the gen. That said I can safely say that this has certainly itched that scratch! tim2827 41 Posted May 16, 2018 I just got my JF v2 Explorer and JF oyster Perpetual 114300. The perpetual works prefect, time on the dot so far and power reserve is amazing that till now is still running without winder. But the explorer lost time as much as 10 mins in an hour. Not 10 secs but minutes. Sometimes it stops. I’ve googled local servicing will cost me US$150 or more. Anyone have any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Share this post Link to post
