Merry Oyster Christmas

I've been rather busy in the last weeks trying to complete many projects. I felt posting a thread about each build would have been redundant, at the same time I'd like to share a few pics for some late Christmas eye candy :)

First one on is this cartel based 5512, here's the parts list:

- reshaped cartel case
- vietnam dial aged by me
- Mix of Clark + cartel hands
- Clark plexi
- Clark bezel assembly
- cartel insert
- Athaya pearl
- Athaya crown

Next one is a nice 1655 McQueen. These builds require some heavy shaping but the result is satisfactory.
Parts used:

- cartel case reshaped, drilled, aged
- vietnam bezel
- Vietnam dial
- Clark plexi
- Rafflestime hands relumed

Following up is a distressed 5512, this is an almost totally cartel build (only added Athaya crown and tube and a Sternkreuz plexi) with heavily aged dial and hands.

Let's break the Submariner builds streak with a GMT. This is my first try at PCG with a cartel 1675 case. Maybe not completely there but acceptable if you ask me. Dial is a gilt 6542 OCC dial, which makes the build a transitional early 60's watch.
Parts used for the build:

- Cartel case reshaped, aged, drilled, refinished
- Clark bezel assembly
- Clark insert
- Yuki hands
- Rafflestime small GMT hand
- Clark plexi
- Vietnam real gilt dial

Let's proceed with an early 6204 build. In order to keep the build on a budget I used a silix/cartel case which required a lot of reshaping, especially the bezel ring which is now totally different than the standard cartel though not perfectly gen-like yet.
Parts list:

- Cartel case heavily reshaped
- Raffles insert
- Cartel dial relumed and aged
- Tiger concept big ball hands
- Sternkreuz T21 plexi

Last but not least, here is a Tudor Submariner 7928 with square crownguards. As many of you will know, cartel CG's ae too short for a proper shaping but with a mix of skills and tricks the result is not bad imho. Besides I have to say I really like this dial and hands combo, and this might affect my judgement ;)
Parts list:

- Cartel case reshaped, refinished, drilled, aged
- Clark hands
- Yuki T19 plexi
- Vietnam dial
- Athaya pearl
- Athaya crown and tube

All dials here come from ebay. Seller's names change but they are all from vietnam
