Suk 0 Posted January 10, 2018 Sead has always been awesome to deal with and he is a TD on RWI. What are the mods you will be doing on the sub? On the sub I plan to do:- case reshaping, soften and aging- new plexi glass- dial aging (maybe a new dial too)- hands aging- dial and hands lumeAnd probably:- new athaya crown and tube- new DWOBut it is still open. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Does SEAD have a website? I contact him per email. [email protected].Send him a link of what you want, and he’s tell you what he can do. subterfuge 0 Posted February 21, 2018 nice watches. and yes i've dealt with sead a couple times myself and it's been a pleasure each time... i've been eyeing a PN daytona but with a stainless steel bezel like the real deal. i already own an alpha with the same bezel and dial configuration, so i'm looking for one with the SS bezel instead. To my knowledge, sead doesn't stock it, anyone know where I can source one? Share this post Link to post

I’ve read somewhere that you have to modify also the bracelet to make the hole bigger for a 2mm spring bar.I can not say anything about the engraving. Sorry. I plan to wear it always with the bracelet.. so the engravings was not an issue for meGesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Share this post Link to post
Dan71 18 Posted February 28, 2018 Ok tks , because in the pics seem that the hole are bigger than other jkf 5513 and 1680. It is an important point because otherwise I have to send it to a modder..and cost money For the engraving I mean if the number are correct for the watch 1665 .I have other curiosity about the crown dimension but I don’t want bother you anymore ..Have a good day Share this post Link to post
Suk 0 Posted February 28, 2018 Don’t worry... I’ll answer you whatever you want and I can, but I’m not an expert.I bought it cause it is a good base to mod. Dan71 18 Posted February 28, 2018 I have already do these mod on a 1680 with a modder but it was expensive ..so I try to understand if I can do by myself little improvement.. Share this post Link to post

I have done the case reshape for my double red, enlarged the holes to 1.25mm for the gen-like spring bar, oldened the insert and swapped a 2842 movement in it. IT took me like 8hrs just to reshape properly the case. They aren't expensive. It's a fucking lot of work to do... Share this post Link to post
