Cream is good.
Aficionados refer to it as patina.........
Mine says G'day 27476956869_d05892b26f_b.jpg&key=cae5daa1ac087b5bad3c64d4664f12dbcc7cf1c48701596ff60a3d79ff3c8def

Sead has always been awesome to deal with and he is a TD on RWI.
What are the mods you will be doing on the sub?

On the sub I plan to do:

- case reshaping, soften and aging
- new plexi glass
- dial aging (maybe a new dial too)
- hands aging
- dial and hands lume
And probably:
- new athaya crown and tube
- new DWO

But it is still open.

I contact him per email. [email protected].

Send him a link of what you want, and he’s tell you what he can do.

nice watches. and yes i've dealt with sead a couple times myself and it's been a pleasure each time...

i've been eyeing a PN daytona but with a stainless steel bezel like the real deal.

i already own an alpha with the same bezel and dial configuration, so i'm looking for one with the SS bezel instead.

To my knowledge, sead doesn't stock it, anyone know where I can source one?

Hi,

I’m not an expert but I think it doesn’t accept 2mm spring bar. I’ve read somewhere that you have to modify also the bracelet to make the hole bigger for a 2mm spring bar.

I can not say anything about the engraving. Sorry. I plan to wear it always with the bracelet.. so the engravings was not an issue for me

Ok tks , because in the pics seem that the hole are bigger than other jkf 5513 and 1680. It is an important point because otherwise I have to send it to a modder..and cost money

For the engraving I mean if the number are correct for the watch 1665 .

I have other curiosity about the crown dimension but I don’t want bother you anymore ..

Have a good day

Don’t worry... I’ll answer you whatever you want and I can, but I’m not an expert.

I bought it cause it is a good base to mod. The mods that I want are:

-case reshape and aged
-dial aged
-dial aged
-resume
-athaya crown and tube
-dwo
- new plexi

Read this

https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/modification-repairs/280164-want-to-mod-that-cartel-jkf-factory-vintage-sub-the-basics-tutorial

is not impossible to do (hole and CG )at least you throw in the garbage the middlecase and buy another 1665 mov 2812 for 160$..

more difficult is change tube and crown..but there are other tutorial for that ..

I have done the case reshape for my double red, enlarged the holes to 1.25mm for the gen-like spring bar, oldened the insert and swapped a 2842 movement in it. IT took me like 8hrs just to reshape properly the case.

They aren't expensive. It's a fucking lot of work to do...
