You have already the correct crown! (same dimension of athaya) also you have already the 2mm hole!

But if you can add some detailed pics about crown for confirmation. And please misure the width of the crown , the width not the diameter ..

 

So you have only to work the CG a little . Faded the insert with bleach, change the end link with  rep 585 (correct for 1665 )or generic 580.

For me is not necessary relume the plot dial but only color them in dirty orange/yellow .

is not impossible to do (hole and CG )at least you throw in the garbage the middlecase and buy another 1665 mov 2812 for 160$..

 

more difficult is change tube and crown..but there are other tutorial for that ..

 I don’t know why don’t work the link . Search these word ‘ Want to mod that Cartel JKF factory vintage sub - the basics Complete tutorial ’ on google and than open search for immage is a 1665 comex...

Here the pics... quite difficult to do macro with iPhone...





My digital calliper has no battery, so I could not measure the crown well but it is about 7mm diameter and 3,5-4mm width... tomorrow I’ll put new batteries and check it again

Yours hat a bevel in the inside part. Mine not. I think yours it is more defined.

I have sent to RA the watch 3 time : first time base mod(CG, hole, faded insert, dial lume )

Second time (crown tube)

Third time (enlarge dial seat and window for instal gen gen dial)

Maybe if you send him only one time is

Less expensive ..

 

The change of the bezel assembly is do by myself..

 

I forgot eta 2846 and many other fix problem about movements
