The cartel versions have low-quality printing on the subdials compared to gen, and if you get the cream coloured one then the printing's less obvious. Can you let me know which cream-coloured one? I really want to make the choice asap and buy it
Mkls 0 Posted January 26, 2018 I was browsing more TD website and found this version. I am not sure if this is the same version I found before, what you guys think? I am going to pull the trigger soon

GC 4,481 Posted January 26, 2018 This one has NO bleeding subdial (but it says “Daytona” )
GC 4,481 Posted January 26, 2018 This one has the bleeder (no Daytona on dial)
Mkls 0 Posted January 26, 2018 Hi GC, thanks for the link, I guess I will only choose the versions without the word Daytona. I just found more different angles of the watch. From your professional point of view, is bleeding version (option 1) better or small subdials version (option 2) better? Option 1 Option

Option 1 Option 2 Option 1 has better print inside subdial but has a fraction more bleeding Option 2 has less bleeding by a fraction but print is less sharp. I say option
Mkls 0 Posted January 27, 2018 @GC Thanks for pointing me to the other thread. From the the link you showed me before, I found another bleeding version having aged color which looks quite nice as a vintage watch. I wish I have all 3 watches in person to compare and make up my mind asap Option

I tried to find them on ebay but couldn't find it. Since this is around CNY, so it maybe better for me to contact TD for the watch after CNY. In the meanwhile, have you guys seen the following rep version? This is the first time I see this version and seems all subdials are in good and same size (instead of 3 small subdials, or 2 big/1 small subdial, or bleeding subdials). Nnilswerdna 5 Posted February 7, 2018 Let's be honest, the only way you can make these work is by going with a Vietnam dial, TheSociety or Slay type build. Even then, the watch will 100% be called out at a magnified level. Obviously, in the real world nobody would carry a magnifying glass, but you would still have to blag a million pound watch on your wrist.

I think that is DW but I'm not an expert in the Daytona. I bought the watch from a friend in Italy. But if you look at this link, it can help you understand the beautiful perfection of David Wong's mods. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?/topic/5839-rolex-daytona-6263-from-david-wong/
