Would you buy it?  Maybe it's real.  Maybe it's fake.  No way to tell lol - Starting bid is $2,000

You can't even tell if it has the word Rolex on the dial...

The fact someone has actually bid is unbelievable. Why do idiots try to pass them off as Gens.

Would need way more pics, but to me:

The lugs look right, right shape and drilled holes.

Crown guards look spot on for this model (drilled lugs)

Bezel teeth look to be worn a bit and from the era, the pin in the endlink shows that this watch has been worn a lot.

I don't know, I wouldn't buy it without a few more telling pics, but I agree with tripdog123.

I'm guessing he'd send you a shot of a plain brown parcel if you asked to see the box and papers....

LOL, I don't need to see the dial to know it's a 5 digit Rolex Submariner.  But I wouldn't place a bid on it with only those pics available - he's either a retard or he's trying to hide defects/damage.

I think It's the latter or a combination of both.

I don't have an EBay account any longer, or I'd ask him for some clearer pics, preferably head on and in high res.

It could well be the real article being offered by a lazy/disinterested/inexperienced seller.
