My new Monaco on new boots. Matches the racing stripe rather well I’d say

Beautiful bright sunny day in Melbourne, which has officially been declared a "THOMMO FREE ZONE", hence the tourist quota has risen dramatically ! Beautiful day for a Breitling

I got no qualms with Melbourne as a city, but 9 days out of 10 the weather sucks

Greetings and Salutations, Gang!

It's the start of a new week already, so let's get the show on the road. Thanks to thommo  for getting it started.  Today: this rarely worn BELL & ROSS BR 02 automatic I purchased from someone, somewhere, some time ago.  Nifty piece & excellent time keeper. Only "complaint:" its two crowns lack the black rubber nubs that are usually on these pieces & have been unable to locate any. dave:

An EXCELLENT piece of horology; I'm trying to obtain one of these, but am having problems with the website, which keeps telling me the seller is unable to sell the watch.  I'll keep trying.

Ah, you still have it.  Interesting watch.  One of my fav to look at.  Sadly not to wear, way too big.

Yup - only way I'd get rid of it is if I succumbed to the gen (not likely -  the rep is too damned good).

Meanwhile:

That's sharp.

Where did you source this watch from?

Thanks in advance.

That is the business!

Its as if a Ploppy, a Nautilus, a Pelagos and a ROO had an orgy

I'm going to get banned because of this.

If you use the red paint pen mod these can be quite stunning

Thanks very much... sourced from Andrew at TT. Rejected first QC as markers slightly out of alignment but think this one was pretty good.  It's a tad thick compared to gen but love that all the complications work - great value for under 400 bucks.
