Do Gen Rolexes get these marks too?

Recommended Posts

GingerApple

On several of my rep Rolexes, the last link on the six o'clock side of the watch closest to the bracelet gets an (ever so slightly) annoying, horizontal scratch mark where the back of the clasp rubs when it's in the open position. Out of interest, do Gen Rolexes get these marks too or is it a fault of the Reps due to inferior engineering etc?

This thread is purely out of interest, so before you tell me to lower my expectations/buy R factory, don't!

Hard to see on my pic, but this is what I mean:

Yep had this one my gen, brand spanking new from the boutique. Plus a horribly discoloured triangle marker on the bezel.

Not an issue on Gen, Gen 904l is self polishing, using nanobot technologies.

Thats because the rep is a copy, it will copy the gen. This is known as RWPP (Replica watch Peer Pressure)

That was the first thing I noticed as well

I have a gen Breitling that has the same thing as well.  Unfortunately, they're pretty universal across watches with the flip safety clasp thingy.

Spray a couple coats of this on your bracelet ... It will NEVER have any scratches again!
