J!m 289 Posted June 24, 2018 Get a steak knife at a yard sale. Cut the blade down to an inch or so. Grind a nice curve on it and then sharpen. Once sharp, dull the edge with a flat file and then polish it all back to mirror again. Long handle gives plenty of leverage. It could be free if you have an old knife around. I have a Bergeon rep one that’s OK but if I need it more I will make one as described above. Or get the gen Bergeon one. But the handle is shorter and thinner than a steak knife.
