My Panerai EGI (PAM 341) Collection [Past | Present | Future]

Recommended Posts

blueradish

Over the years I’ve probably built around 50 EGI’s. Lots for me, lots for other people.  I’m not sure why I love this PAM so much but it’s likely that it is because it is just so BADASS!  It takes no shite from anyone. I’ve built everything from simple builds all the way up to full case modifications to fit vintage deco movements.

One thing I’ve never done is share them with the community. I’ve always thought I would amass a large collection and share them all at once, but over the years I’ve been coerced into selling a few, some have gone thru dial swaps, etc.  I’ve realized I will never have a complete collection to share, so I’ve decided to share my Egi build of the Past, Present and Future.  Wish I had photographed all of them, but the best one’s are definitely below.

Enjoy.  :B):

PRESENT

1. ‘Stock Egi’ - something I believe everyone should have in their collection

2. ‘Garage Aged Egi’  - Custom NW dial, case aged over 6 months over the Winter thru temp changes and salt puddles in my garage for a natural aging effect.

Thats an impressive collection, I wish I could wear one but they look massive!

As for that digital Camo PvD ... love it! So good to see projects where people push things further and in new directions.

Thanks for sharing!

Some awesome examples there. I've had two 47mm EGI's in the past. Wish I had kept the last one as it was done really well.

Looking forward to seeing your "future" pieces. and possibly a sales thread or two ;)

P.S. Love the method of displaying the watches on hooks.

Thanks guys, I definitely like to take the watch builds 'outside the box', makes for a more unique collection.

I've dealt with Blueradish in the past, he made a strap for me for my BR 123.  He's definitely one of the elite when it comes to creating, and I mean creating, watches from stock deliveries from the TDs.

Present #'s 2, 6 and 7 are unreal, bud.  I remember your thread over at HF about creating the case for #2, putting it under the car while the snow and salt melted off your car.  Definitely someone who thinks outside the box (and papers? )  One can only aspire to your talents here and there are a select few who can equal them.  Salute, my friend.

Thanks bud, appreciate the compliments.  That case that I aged in my garage over Winter was waaaay out of the box, but it needed to be done.  Too many cases were bring aged with chemicals, I needed to see what would happen with Mother Nature.

You should look into M2M (member to member sales), not here. But you'll have to post a bit more to see it.

Wow! Panerai could actually steal some ideas for their future model here. Your work is impressive, pity this monster is not suitable for my skinny wrists, somehow I have a feeling I would change my mind about that once I’d try it on. Please share your work again..hats off!

Superb, at some point I’ll need to get me on of these ideally with 47mm polished steel case and  this dial.

What do you charge for them?
