SuperOcean II 44mm Black GF vs Noob

Hi,

These are my 2 watches
Not sure if all of them have the same “issues” as mine do

When testing

My Noob have gen ocean racer band and gen folding clasp 
My GF has no alterations, stock from seller

First picture is always noob, second is GF

1.)
Noob
Bezel wont line up to perfect 12 o clock,
Either its to much to the left or to the right
GF
Perfect line up 12 o clock

2.)
Noob
The numbers 15,30,45 on the bezel are to thin
GF
Thicker, much closer to gen (compared to online pictures on sale forums)

3.)
Noob
Crystal sits perfect agains bezel
GF
Crystal sits further up, so there is a edge between bezel and crystal

4.)
Noob
Breitling wing logo under 12 o clock on dial, is thin
GF
On this one it’s thicker

5.)
Noob
Matt black rubber color on bezel, about same color on dial
GF
Matt black rubber color on bezel,
But the dial is more black here

6.)
Noob
Matt black rubber on bezel,
Seems to hold up better and little thicker

Not so thick, and seem to get marks faster

7.)
Noob
When looking from the side on the bezel,
The “teeth” looks higher

Much lower “teeth” on the bezel

8.)
Noob
The edge of the inner lug (where it meets the band, in the sides)
Looks better on this one, more straight

Looks kind of sloppy if you look close

9.)
Noob
More AR, deeper looking purple

Less AR, more blueish

From my opinion
I like the noob more (use as daily driver because i love the folding clasp)

But I have no gen to compare it to
Only compared to gen watches on sale on the web

Thanks for posting this! Good comparison. I think I would go again with the GF. But the AR on noob version looks beautiful...

Don't know if it is more gen like or not, but I like the second one in the pics more.

Looks like both have flaws...I would go Noob based on their track record

This is a great thread.  I'm looking at this model as my next purchase and several TDs have both the Noob and the GF in stock.  This really helps to make up my mind, which is not made up yet...
