West End Watch Co. Secundus

Recommended Posts

Heres some pics of a West End Watch Co. secundus that I got few weeks back from a flea market, nothing compared to all the beautiful watches here in this vintage threads :D I believe it must have been converted from a pocket watch. I dont have a DSLR so I hope this pics will just do fine :D , still runs pretty accurate but power reserve is on the lower side. Enjoy( Hoping so)

Thanks Mazz :D , I have no idea how old it is, probably around 70s-80s? not sure if anyone have a rough idea it would be gold :D

I've come across a couple of watches from this company before. Some came with Longines movements although that doesn't appear to be the case here. I think you may find it's a lot older than you think - my guess would be somewhere around WW1. I've seen a secs@9 version with an otherwise almost identical dial that dated from 1917

A) how much did you pay?

:stars: how did this thread get buried without giving that beauty more respect?

C) does anyone know more about closed face watches or any other versions?

D) give it to me out of the kindness of your heart? ;)
