Like everyone that makes me happy, she hates them :giggle:

joking of course, she doesn’t care, but questions start getting asked if DHL pull up more than once a month

My missus has asked why I need so many many watches.

I asked her why she needs so many shoes.

Conversation over.

That is exactly what I said to my wife.:D  And if she asks me do you have a new watch?  then I say no I already had it:Liar:

After years of playing warcraft/wow, then years of non stop drinking on my days off finally last few years she is most happy with my replacement hobby... Watches. When she asks where i am my kids say"playing with his watches". Although she does not know that mine and her paypal accounts have about $3800 balance all from watches/watch parts. She thinks i buy $50-100 watches from china lol.

Clare now has 15 watches and we're on our way back from Prague which was her 5th GTG.  Nuff said.

Mine thinks it is a waste of money. she prefers that I'll buy a 10K IWC that will last for many years and not "waste" 3K on reps that may break after a year or two....

wow, most women would complain, yours encourages you to spend more haha :)

Mine says they all look the same.....
I also lie a lot about the prices.

I’m telling her the price, but not mentioning that it’s in USD.

Funny you say that. I use Aussie dollars when I tell her the American price

My wife regards it as a form of low level mental illness. I can also identify with many of the behaviours above, like lying about the prices, and the desperately anxious wait for the postman, hoping she's out when the package arrives. Also as has been noted once you reach critical mass a new addition can be easily passed of with a casual 'no I've had that one for ages'.

That's one positive for keeping my focus on Panerai for now.   They all look alike to her.  *<;o)

She's actually enjoying my collection, and wants to buy me a new Seiko, because she likes the "Orange faced one".  So, it looks like a new SRPC07 (Prospex Samurai!) for me soon.
