peppercorn 0 Posted April 24, 2018 In another thread, feedback section for PC, I read with interest, and quoted in the title, a post from greg_r. As a complete noob to the rep world, this has me wondering if this is just par for the course. I’ve read other posts from the past where someone has loosely stated that the factories have to move from time to time to avoid authorities or post raid. In the ‘top rep factories’ or something close to those words, I read that BP was one of the oldest factories , having been in the game since the beginning. I wonder how many times they have been ‘shut down’. My questions for you old salt members and super sluth noobs is: How often does a factory get ‘shut down’? How long does it typically take for them to start over, assuming that they can? Do they come back as the same or are they something all together different with regard to QC, best models and so forth? They built a reputation pre shutdown, how does it play out. So, what say ye factory ‘informed’? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GC 4,489 Posted April 24, 2018 The names and the faces change... the watches just keep on coming. That’s what I’ve taken away from the last 8 years.
RepGuy 108 Posted April 24, 2018 Someone will start up BP factory again, even if everything is different after it re-opens. These factories aren't protected by patents or trademarks, so whoever buys a roll of holographic "BP" stickers can slap them on any replica watch and claim they are BP Factory. They will be back eventually.
Genius 281 Posted April 24, 2018 Pour over a few old threads and you'll find that noob factory has literally fuck all to do with the original noob factory other than when they started up they used the original case supplier Or so we are told it's all smoke and mirrors bollocks If it looks like a real watch who gives a fuck which Chinese sweat shop it's assembled in
RUSH2112 11 Posted April 25, 2018 It seems that it’s more common for tds to get busted than the actual “factories.”
peppercorn 0 Posted April 25, 2018 Well, I guess as long as they keep a com’n that’s all that really matters, in the rep world. I do wonder though, what with all the noob this and noob that, if it were Noob that was shut down, if we would see pandemonium break out in the rep forums. A lot of ‘ifs’ in that sentence.....lol🤪Hmmmm, interesting that the TDs get shut down more often than the factories. I would think that the TDs would have a smaller foot print than a production facility. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
trailboss99 994 Posted April 25, 2018 Very much doubtful if H Factory will be back at all. The situation at BP I'm not fully aware of.

So does that mean all my reps made by H factory are now rare and priceless? On a serious note, I am also interested in the back story here if you are able to share it... I’m thinking H factory reps will be the next highly collectible ‘Blood Dial’ of the near future, complete with ‘stories’ dare told to this inquiring rep crowd of a few.
