EBB 25 Posted April 26, 2018 How Do I Know What My Undertone Is? It’s actually not that tough. Here are some easy strategies: Look At Your Veins: You have veins on the inside of your wrists. Are they blue or green? If they’re blue, you’re probably a cool undertones guy. If they look green, you’re probably warm-toned. Don’t freak out, your veins aren’t actually green. It’s just that you’re looking at blue veins through yellow skin, and if you remember from our article on color theory, yellow+blue=green. Hair And Eye Color: Most cool guys have blue, green, or grey eyes with blond, brown, or black hair. Warm-toned guys are usually have brown, amber, or hazel eyes with strawberry blond, red, brown or black hair. Do You Even Tan, Bro? When you’re in the sun, do you turn golden brown or do you burn to a crisp? If the former, you’re likely warm-toned. If the latter, you’re likely cool-toned. Which metal should I use? Yellow gold is particularly striking on warmer skin tones and pairs well with earthy stones in brown, green, orange, yellow and turquoise. Silver and white gold complement cooler skin tones and pair well with vibrant stones in pink, purple, deep blue and red. WILD CARD: ROSE GOLD-The soft pink tone complements both warm and cool skin tones and it’s the perfect choice for a vintage or especially feminine piece of jewellery. A general rule of thumb when picking colors is contrast, we want something that contrasts our skin and doesn't blend, A pale white person would wouldn't look ideal in white, and on the contrary dark skinned individual wouldn't look ideal in a brown leather strap. Here are some examples comparing: bad good. the difference is clear in which watch looks better on the varying skin tones. Example for Cooler skin tones: Good contrast, added bonus that dial matches eye color. good match. dark green compliments fair skin color. Examples for Warm skin tones: That yellow gold really pops! white provides excellent contrast on darker skin. Red is also a superb choice for darker skin. Of course this is subjective and everybody could have a different opinion, this is just a interesting topic that could maybe help somebody decide which color dial/bracelet/strap would look best on them. At the end of the day wear whatever makes you happy. sources; https://bespokeunit.com/color/skin-tone/ https://beautilifestyle.wordpress.com/2016/09/02/choose-watch-according-skin-tone/ https://www.wikihow.com/Choose-the-Right-Jewelry-for-Your-Skin-Tone-and-Face-Shape https://www.iamalpham.com/index.php/topics/skin-undertones-2/

FunnyStarSystem 7,538 Posted April 27, 2018 I saw an albino on the subway a couple days ago, he was wearing a huge, Arctic parka all trimmed out in dog fur, hood up. It was 70f that day.
