gB. 0 Posted April 21, 2011 One step forward, two steps back... It is interesting though that they were able to use the very reliable Venus 75 h/w movement and achieve the asymmetrical pushers. I still think that DW and Yuki have the better dials IMO.
KBH 7 Posted April 21, 2011 DW comes up with some shitty dials on occasion. I've heard more than one complaint where it's taken two or three from him to get a decent one. And Yuki.... How much for a Yuki dial? If same as most of his stuff, the dial would probably cost as much as this whole watch.
Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted April 21, 2011 so the subdial at 6 does shit all? weaksauce man....though that movement is lovely
andygt 0 Posted April 21, 2011 DW's dials are indeed hit and miss but when he gets them right they beat the ones on the new asymetrical lemanias hands down. I've seen better dials on the old symetrical lemania based 6263s too. From the pictures the pushers on those new ones look too short if we're being anal. Guanaco 0 Posted April 21, 2011 Well screw the 6263 I'm going with a DW 6239 Panda w/A7750 until I get my hands on a Valjoux 72.
wat44 0 Posted April 21, 2011 ...and for people who dont care about the details... wat would you recommend for vintage panda? I dont even care if the pushers dont work, just want trouble free thanks
Guanaco 0 Posted April 22, 2011 ...and for people who dont care about the details... wat would you recommend for vintage panda? I dont even care if the pushers dont work, just want trouble free thanks Get one with a Seagull ST-19 like the ones from the links I posted. You will get a fixed 12-Hour Sub-dial, but you will have a trouble free movement.
