123qwe 0 Posted April 23, 2011 Is worth, for you, to spend 18usd more for the sapphire crystal instead of the standard glass? Any experience? I want to buy a 44mm luminor from getat and there is the option to add a sapphire crystal for 18usd

123qwe 0 Posted April 23, 2011 I would thats not much for a far better crystal yes, but the problem in other words is this: "is really a better crystal"? Because I don't trust too much that chinese "sapphire" crystals. My fear is to pay more for receive the same crystal or a sapphire crystal that isn't better than the mineral version
Akira 0 Posted April 23, 2011 It will be a better crystal though being more scratch resistent. I have both mineral and sapphire watches....sapphire is a different ball game.
turnipz 0 Posted April 23, 2011 Its a pain to replace if you dont know what your doing, so may as well pay now rather than later.
