Here we have the above:

US$2837.00, plus US$70.00 shipping. I assume Chrono24 is a reputable site, but the question is this: is that a reasonable price for the gen?

The U-Boat website has a different version of same watch, larger (50mm) listed at $3600.00, and available on Chrono24 for ~US$2700-3400.00.

Anyone have any thoughts on it? Price? Musings? Better place to buy? Any comments helpful, and thank you!

EDIT: also check ebay.com as well, chrono24 is kind of inflated in terms of true value, sometimes they have a good deal, but you're better off with watchrecon/watchpatrol/ebay

Oh, and it really isn't "forged from tungsten carbide", just the bezel is it would seem.

Thanks, EBB. I'm a bit skittish about eBay, but I suppose there are good, professional watch sellers on there, too. 

I'll check it out.
