And I am uncertain if they are still around, see above notice of dissolution. However, it could be possible to bring them back to new life in Europe. Baldrick 1 Posted April 30, 2011 Urban Jürgensen & Sønner ( an offshoot of the original family business _) are still operational and produce some very fine timepieces, tourbillons, regulateurs, perpetuals and rattrapante chronographs, very much in the classic Breguet style, with enamel, porcelain or rose-engine turned dials, very handsome in appearance and probably comparable to George Daniels! I can only aspire to someday having one of their glorious hunters converted to a wristwatch ( I know, I know, it's anathema to a true horologist ), they're quite simply beautiful I'd also settle for a Christian Van Der Klaauw or even a McGonigle!
