"Going rate" for a really nice dial relume (Chromalight)

So, as the title says: what does a quality re-lume job go for these days?

I seem to recall a member (maybe not here) KeNnY I think, rather famous for his work. Maybe someone else...

Anyway, should I expect to pay $20, $50, $100 for an OEM quality re-lume job? Since I generally work on vintage stuff, it doesn't need to glow, or even be present in some cases...

Thanks!

Damn! a hundred GBP?!? That's serious money (but since I remember him, I'm sure he's earning every bit of that).

Good to know. And it sounds as if he's still at it too? My newly acquired 116600 is not up to "gen standards" in the lume department. Although it need a bunch of other money thrown at it, I wanted to have an idea what I was in for.

The name "Vac" seems to ring a bell for relumes, can't help much beyond that I'm afraid!

I'm aware that "Chromalight" is a marketing name, Just wanted to indicate "modern" for a Rolex rather than the vintage stuff I normally get involved with.

Ah I see. If you have the time and are willing to, you can contact rctritec and buy a super luminova set from them, takes a lot of practice but in the end it's really cool :)

I don't foresee doing enough to justify it, but I'll keep it in mind...

Shit, send it to me and I'll have it back to you in no time, you won't even be able to tell that I altered the dial at all, I'm that good!
