greg_r 81 Posted August 4, 2018 The Glashutte Senator Sixties has long been one of my all-time favourite watches. I've had most of the different rep versions and even bought the gen (which didn't work out well as it was DOA and returned for a refund). I currently have the Miyota-powered rep which, for the most part, scratches the itch. However, the urge for a real one remained, but no way was I going to throw another £5k and more at the modern gen after what happened last time. However, the current watch is inspired by a watch from the 1960's and vintage versions can be had fairly cheaply in good restored condition. I've been looking for a specific dial / case combo for over a year and finally found it. I paid slightly over the going rate for this, but only by about twenty quid (still cheaper than the rep sen sixties ). It's a 36mm gold-plated case with handwind 17J movement, date and an unmarked white numeral dial together with slightly domed crystal. It's a beautiful watch and keeps good time. I think I'll be wearing this quite a lot...
deju 1,874 Posted August 4, 2018 I always found the dial aesthetic and domed crystal to be almost soothing to look at. Glashutte and H Moser & Cie. are the ultimate in class when it comes to watches for me. The effortless way in which they make a statement without making a statement (if that makes sense?!) always has me gazing in wonderment.

Not too small for a vintage piece either at 36 that's within what I could wear.. Let see some more photos then
Genius 281 Posted August 4, 2018 Really nice! Almost looks brand new. Still can't believe it was less than the rep cracking find
