I'll be a dad for the first time - looking for a watch

Lots of future fathers here! My wife is due early November. Not planning on a commemorative watch for myself but I agree with the others on picking up a nice (doesn't have to be expensive) gen.

I'd echo the "reasonably priced gen" vibe but I don't have any specific recommendations. The reasonably priced gen I fancy next is a Seagull 1963 chronograph but not sure that's a solid recommendation as a baby commemoration watch, pretty enough buy maybe that should be something simpler. Although you could wind up the missus using it to time the contractions if you go for baby number 2.

Thanks ffuhcu! I'll definitely use the argument of timing the contraction to sell this to my wife haha!
