I haven't had the opportunity to reattach a pearl dot with it yet, but I have used JB PlasticWeld epoxy to repair many other things.  Just make sure you wipe off any excess that oozes out because once it  sets you will need to use files or sand paper to remove it.

I find it's best, if possible, to epoxy it from the back side of the insert to avoid a glue mess on the front surface.

What bezel?

1680/5513 aluminum bezel with all plastic pearl?

16610 aluminum bezel with metal surround peral?

116610 ceramic insert with metal surround peral?

For 1680/5513 early models, I use superglue. I apply it from the rear, after inserting the pearl. Allow to set overnight, and then clean up the excess from the back side. The cyanoacrylate adhesive is very similar chemistry to the acrylic perals, so it essentially makes the back side of the pearl wider so it can't come through the hole in the insert. I have used this method with gen perals in gen inserts and not lost one (yet)...

Thanks gents ,wasn’t wanting to take the insert off but stands to reason it’s the best fix.
