THCarrera 0 Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) Spoiler Hello, I recently obtained a Carrera Calibre 16 at the unreal price of $600. My friends divorce (this was a wedding present) and wishes for a shotgun were my gain. The watch was pretty banged up and I’ve been working on the case. There are a few bad dings at 135 and 160. I would like to replace the bezel insert ring and cannot find any info on doing so. If the ring was removed I believe I can sand and polish these areas and at least make it look better. My searches led me to this forum because a user performed a full disassembly of a Carrera, but his forum status is now “banned”. Can anybody tell me if the bezel rings pop out or if major disassembly is required?
