Custom Panerai

I’m trying to find out a bit more about this custom build purchased recently on the forum (thanks @sammysmiths ).

Apparently it is titanium and a few years old.

It is a lovely watch - love the no date, no second hand and the light weight, especially compared to my ceramica gmt beast .

Anyone know any more about the history of this?

Looks like a 390 in a 177 case.
Should not be a big problem to recreate.

Well it's a PAM390 dial and hands put either on a PAM176 or a modified PAM177. The PAM177 can't be used for this out of the box as the movement has a post for the subdial, whereas the PAM176 is also a base model so the PAM390 dial is a straight drop in.

I am guessing that the case is Titanium.  They feel like they are almost weightless after wearing full steel.

Ok answering my own question here but oh well

(didnt mention that I was after 44mm case)

PAM 372 - but 47mm Case

PAM 673 - but also 47mm case

PAM 390 - 44mm case but sausage dial. Looks like some factories incorrectly made PAM 390 with sandwich dial. Guess I have to track one of these down Hahaha

I don't remember any factory making any such sausage dials for the PAM390 but you seem to have found one. Good luck! :)
