JohnG 41 Posted May 12, 2009 So I saw this cool watch being produced/sold by a guy at RG, Lololo33 under his brank "Pyrolume".... it it called a Q43. He says he makes these watches with a CNC machine at home. But now I think he just does the dial/lume.... I found an identical case on eBay and now I am thinking of buying this Chinese watch and getting me some Flavor Flav special super lume doing my own custom dial... You guys be the judges. Pyrolume 43mm "Q43" Zeiger 43mm "Canteen" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...mMakeTrack=true
JohnG 41 Posted May 12, 2009 What about that case with a sterile Pam dial - with Flavor Flav super lume.... The 37.6 mm might fit... http://www.siswatch727.com/index.do
AllergyDoc 40 Posted May 12, 2009 That Great Watch Company is pretty cool. I wouldn't mind that it didn't say Panerai on the dial.
JohnG 41 Posted May 12, 2009 Okay, I just bought one on eBay - cost £10.98 (£.99 for the watch and £9.99 shipping)

JohnG 41 Posted May 13, 2009 Are you going to post it over at RG and rumble the Q43 guy John? I will post the project when I do it. See what happens, if anyone notices the case is the same... I think he does do some of his cases, and it is clear that he uses Pam cases for some of his watches, so he never flat out says he makes the Q43 case - I just assumed until I saw the one on eBay... Paid and waiting now...

trailboss99 996 Posted May 14, 2009 What about that case with a sterile Pam dial - with Flavor Flav super lume.... The 37.6 mm might fit... http://www.siswatch727.com/index.do Actualy I quite like that case, just not fussed on the dial so a sterile Pam dial would go well IMO. Interesting project and you can't argue with the pricetag. The first dial looks great at night tho! Col.
JohnG 41 Posted May 14, 2009 I wonder how it would look with a vintagized slightly steam-punk look and a vintage hunky Pam strap? And maybe a sterile dial, but not Pam, something different... A completely unique sandwich dial..... Ideas?
