I remember reading here once that the longer you get into this hobby, the higher the quality of watch you will desire.

When I started out a $100 watch was just fine, then $200, then $300..... and well, you get the picture.

Now that I’ve tasted a bit of Swiss finesse I no there is no going back.

This pleases me however. Shit, won’t be long and my collection might just surpass yours

you're right old mate, each gen you get makes the thirst worse. Gets to be a VERY expensive hobby though. Few hundred bucks on a rep, who cares, gets stolen, big deal...but you really start to worry when the gen collection starts to rise

Oh this is a keeper for me.  It feels similar to when I got my first Black Bay, which I still love. ;)

James.!  Good to see you around again :)  This is a Chinese homage watch to the Seiko MarineMaster Professional 300.  Don't have the cash for the real thing, so I picked this up.  Got it for a pretty good price, they're going for almost $500 now which is a lot more than what they were selling for a couple years ago.  There have been a few different iterations made by a couple of companies.  Merkur, Uroborus, Sharkey, HIMQ, Fifty Four, LJM  to name a few.  I like the dial on this one the best, so I waited for one to show up in good shape on ebay.

Just how many Balls do you have, buddy?

I'm sure you've posted a pic of more than one?

Thanks mate.  My new toy is the iPhone XS Max  - the camera on this thing is unbelievably good, and even has a 2x optical zoom.  Then I just tweak the  lighting and colour using the iOS photo editor to improve the pic before uploading to Picr.me!  (Don't forget to give the watch (and phone's camera lens) a good clean beforehand too!)
