To explorer II or to Omega

Hello, I am looking for suggestions in selecting a daily watch.

I am looking to expand my collection (I currently own a pam 127 and pam 382). I was originally thinking of buying the new  VSF Omega with the new movement but I saw someone post a picture of their Rolex explorer II polar and I was in love. I normaly do not like Rolex because everyone and their mother are familiar with them a d the flaws might be called out, but I was wondering if anyone who is knowledgeable with both rep would be able to push me in the right direction.

I was wondering  how reliable is the explorer II polar with the A2836?

The only known flaw that I have read is the incorrect hand stacks, any other known flaws?

Should I take a risk with the new 8500 / 8400 movements ???

A y suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone and their mother is familiar with the brand Rolex, not the minute details of each model that people on rep forums stress about.  If you get a high end rep, almost no one (including actual gen owners) will call you out unless you take off the watch and hand it to them AND they unscrew the crown and try to set the time. If you are in love with the Polar Explorer II, go get the best version you can afford of that and enjoy it.
