hanski 40 Posted November 18, 2018 Someone asked me how I go about making a pip, so here it is: 1. Start with an insert sans pip. 2. Mix up some Epoxy 330, place a drop in the hole to create a foundation for the pip. Allow to dry overnight. 3. Mix up a dry(ish) batch of lume. Place on the dried Epoxy base, gently float it into a nice dome shape. (Maybe the amount of lume in this example is a bit much but whatever). Let dry overnight. 4. Once again mix up some Epoxy 330. This time let the mix sit for 10-15 minutes. With the stiffened mixture, place a droplet on the lume, and float into a nice shape. I start with a little bit and build layers. Let dry overnight. 5. Repeat step four until you build up to the pip size and shape you want. 6. Enjoy your hand made pip.
