simplemind 0 Posted December 11, 2018 Hey gang, Just a quick intro. Ive actually been a member for almost 5 years. I started in this hobby then and layed off for a while , had other things going on in life. I have purchased from TDs here and gleaned a ton of info and learned alot over the years. from everyone here. Mostly recently ive been building/ assembling my own watches the way I want them. That way no one to blame but myself if its a POS. I'm not a watchmaker, but an amateur hobbyist, I have the necessary tools to do most things within a watch. Bought a few cheapo movements and disassembled them numerous times to learn the inner workings and servicing. Ill probably be in the market soon for a few reps ive been eyeballing. I didnt have a decent bracelet so i hung it on a NATO. Base case and bezel are from a cheaper rep. Id like to replace bezel just haven't found one i like. simplemind 0 Posted December 13, 2018 Crap... One of you should have called me out on the date wheel/window on the MK16. I just looked at the pics and saw the misalignment. That movement came with a white DW I changed it and all seemed well, clearly not. I looked at it again today and was aligned correctly so clearly the advance wheel/detent has something dodgy happening, but only sometimes. Time to crack it open (again) and get it sorted.
