Help with a movement

Recommended Posts

HWG

Ok, I've got this homage, and I love it.  Its big, its ugly, and I'm quite fond of it.  The auto movement inside is all fouled up.  A couple of years ago, the watch would not wind.  So, I took the rotor off, and manually wound it.  It worked for a while,  Then it suddenly stopped after a full wind.  Now the dateweheel is hard to advance.  Some parts have since been lost, and I feel it is best to replace the movement.  But, I can see zero markings on it.  I need some assistance.  Or perhaps, one of you has a similar piece laying around that I can cannibalize the movement from.  Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!

I know this beast.
It is a Seagull TY-2555
Search it on eBay as ST2555 and you can get a new one for 50$

Just a quick update... got the movement delivered from HK, and did the swap last night.  It was a little tedious and I lost one of the movement holder tab screws.  But, I have my ugly beast running smoothly again.  Thanks for the help guys!
