andyboy 5 Posted January 12, 2019 Ceramic insert and sapphire crystal make a big difference. It`s a shame the parts availability for the SKX013 is limited.
BenjaminButton 149 Posted January 12, 2019 A few Seiko Baby Monsters on the way - SRP481K1 It's like a watch Tsunami! At least I love the watches on this one even if it's almost head spinningly impossible to keep up. Where did you pick up this round of baby monsters Sir? cvp3 2,103 Posted January 12, 2019 I used Ebay for the SRP481K1 (refurbished, seller already raised their prices to $150+) and Discount Shop for the rest. I asked for a received a "private link" that gives me 5% off DS's already low, low prices (already asked if I could share the link last week and they declined). I like that DS ships in the original boxes versus Creation Watches which ships in a generic Seiko branded box and is usually missing the certificate of authenticity. I also linked through BeFrugal for 1% cashback for DS and used TopCash link through to eBay so net prices are as follows: Discount Shop SRP605K2 $135 minus 5%, plus 1% cashback = $126.97 SRPB33J1 $156 minus 5%, plus 1% cashback = $146.72 SRPB483K1 $141 minus 5%, plus 1% cashback = $132.61 Ebay SRP481K1 $138.42 minus 1% eBay buck, plus 1.5% cashback = $134.98 This makes 10 watches from DS. Only had one hiccup so far that bugged me. I ordered a Seiko SRP639K1 that netted down to $234. This was STUPID CHEAP. Lowest ebay seller used with damage is $304, best new price I could find was over $300 from Singapore and these are on ebay all the way up to $869! I was told that the watch "flunked their QC" inspection. Major disappointed that I believe had more to do with the reality that they had this one listed too cheap. CollieWobbles 236 Posted January 16, 2019 I got my SKX009 today and very happy with it, although the date is in a foreign language which is a pain
GingerApple 7,271 Posted January 16, 2019 Don't some datewheels had two languages printed on them? Can it not be adjusted so English displays?

cvp3 2,103 Posted January 24, 2019 Everything arrived today. 6 out of 8 were perfect. The Orange Monster needs a new click spring....I need to figure out the part number. I believe it may be 8133.2049, but don't know for sure. The PADI is in fact purple as I suspected. That's gotta go back. So far the seller has been great. Agreed to pay for return postage and whatever the cost of the click spring repair is.

lamb333 0 Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) I found the SKX 013 to wear very small, I guess if you have small wrists its not a issue. Great looking watch though in my opinion. Edited January 24, 2019 by lamb333
