Caliper 0 Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) Hello there, as per the title, newbie here Just a small introduction, big Tag-Heuer fan, own a couple original, had an Omega that I tragically destroyed. I know Tag-Heuer is a bit frown upon by watch snobs but I really like it's youthful looks since I'm still, relatively young. Anyway, I was introduced by a friend to a bunch of replica watches, not far along, and was stunned by how close they were to the real thing and have been slowly learning about them. Hope to learn a lot from you guys, get a few replicas that are wildly out of my price range, with the hope of one day owning the originals. Now, off to the Newbie guide... Sorry, no pics, it was a graduation gift when I was a teenager, it was an Omega Seamaster, used it all the time, including while playing Squash, let's just say... it was either my nose or the watch against my opponents racquet The watch or glass didn't break but it was until I got home that I noticed the watch wasn't working and could here a rattle inside, took it to the jeweler where they told me the inner mechanism was completely broken and the cost of sending it to switzerland and getting it repaired was as much as a new one.
