Jubilee for Submariner

Recommended Posts

Monkey_Business

Hey there!

What jubilee (Like, from which OP or DJ model) would fit a 6-digit submariner without major modifications?
I've seen plenty of cool hulks, dates and no-dates with Jubilee's on them and would like to try the same.

Will try to source a jubilee band once I figure out what watch to get it from.

I would ask the TD.  That is what I've done in the past.  Its a lot trickier than you think.

Can any TD source bracelets? Or are some better than others? :)

No idea about that.  I know this because MR has told me when a bracelet will not fit a watch.  Like a BP will not fit a particular other BP.  Solid end links are tricky things.

I'd guess that the Jubilee from the 126710 GMT Pepsi would have a decent chance of fitting, and it has a nice flip-lock clasp. But it's a guess.

As Rich said, those SELs can be tricky.

I checked my go-to TD Andrew, and a 63600 Super Jubilee from 36mm ARF is already bought. Hope it fits, hah

As far as I'm led to believe; the gen only comes on Jubilee and cannot be swapped with an oyster. Not sure about the reps.

This is true. To avoid people buying the "cheaper" GMT and changing bracelet, they've made the SEL's completely different.

Datejust to Submariner / GMT should be easier. I just hope ARF follow gen-like specs

Where there are dremels, there is hope

It cost me the same price as a low end rep, so I'm dissapointed if I need to mod it though

One never knows.............I got 3 or 4 in the box that are non starters.  So if the TD doesn't know for sure when you contact them......well.

I'm newer to the Rep. scene and made this mistake thinking any would fit my 2813 batman for a nice cheapie and fun looking watch. I am now the proud owner of 2 new president bracelets fit for a datejust/daydate (who knows which size). They are currently making fantastic paper weights lol.
