maduro 1 Posted February 5, 2019 Where did all the 42mm watches go?????!! Why are there so many reps that are larger than the gens? There are many gens such as IWC, Tags, and Breitlings that are 42mm but the reps are much larger. What's up with that??

JSJ 0 Posted February 8, 2019 The IWC reps I have are the same size as the gens. 3777 for example. Big Pilots. I have a Mark XVII which came from Ali years ago which is too big but I also have a couple (one even with a low beat movement) which are correct. I don't understand the question. And I don't look at Tag reps, sorry
gmchris 68 Posted February 9, 2019 Well as an Omega man I have noticed this too, the DSOTM speedie, plus the 2015 apollo 13 anniversary (snoopy), are 44mm instead of 42, and the Speedie MK2 is 46! It's annoying because when you open them up there is at least a 3mm movement holder so they could have used a gen size case. I get the recent trend for larger watches but ironically the Chinese all seem to have wrists like 9yr olds...
deju 1,836 Posted February 9, 2019 Buy watches that are made in 42mm ....simples.
GulfGT40 3,162 Posted February 10, 2019 I haven't had a problem finding 42mm speedies, snoopy, apollo 11 45th anniversary, speedmaster racing etc. Just need to do your homework and ask questions.

Yes I have a 42mm moonwatch and now a 42mm snoopy, but I'd kill for a 42mm MK2
Bash64 17 Posted February 11, 2019 I seem to be off the 44+ sized watches atm. 42 or43 mm are my new go to preference. Maybe the rep world is slow to adapt to the recent drop in size adjustment across the industry?
