BadApple 13,081 Posted February 12, 2019 Chaps I sold an ARF Sea Dweller to a RWG member at the weekend and unbeknown to me the ceramic on the bezel has a mark on it. I didn't notice it myself and whilst on the M2M picture it isn't clear and if I had noticed it I would have highlighted it. Is there a way to repair / sort this for the member as I am wanting to sort it for him.
Golfer130i 4 Posted February 12, 2019 Is it possible that it’s a scuff and the white marks are on top of the ceramic ? If so something like a Cape Cod cloth might buff it off.
BadApple 13,081 Posted February 12, 2019 Zooming in it seems to be a paint deposit rather than a scratch - I have suggested meths / alcohol on a cloth.
Golfer130i 4 Posted February 12, 2019 Anything down that line should do. Shouldn’t hurt the bezel at all being ceramic. Maybe even a toothbrush.
BadApple 13,081 Posted February 12, 2019 @wizzzard . has just messaged me - magic cloth and white spirit done the trick !!
Golfer130i 4 Posted February 12, 2019 Excellent news. Needs to do the rest of the bezel now by the looks of it
Genius 281 Posted February 12, 2019 Just careful not to use too much and take the platinum out of the engravings 10 minutes ago, Golfer130i said: Excellent news. Needs to do the rest of the bezel now by the looks of it
