Forget the inside of the clasp... look at the join, that's bad.

Nobody’s gonna notice the clasp engraving...the appalling misalignment of said same, however...jeeebusss: Bend over to pick up a quarter, while the bills are flying right past you...

Clone movement for AP Royal Oak would be a few years down the line. ARF is working on a clone SH3187 GMT CHS movement, which will see soon.

Any update on the rep to get it close to gen is more the welcome. On the bracelet, getting the clasp, links, and SELs better is one step forward.

The AP logo at 12 is still too spaced out with weird glue/paint in the middle.

I think that lume is supposed to be there..

Anyways, still waiting for a better AP movement. ZFs pretty much nailed the Patek movement for me.

The A and P are much closer together on the gen though, look at the JF here.

You're absolutely right to be fair. The Gen lume looks perhaps .2mm wide whereas the Rep has got to be at least .4mm. Maths isn't my strong point, but that's double!!! Sloppy by JF.

you wouldn’t even need the gen dial side by side to be able to tell the logo is slightly off. I think it’s ok to be picky with such details when these reps are going for almost 500 USD, no need for your sarcasm. I’d say the logo flaw is even more noticeable than a bad coronet on a Rolex rep, and people always point those out.

There's always room for sarcasm; this is RWG!

It's okay to be picky about anything - if it bothers you personally, then it's a big deal! But if you're that picky, maybe Gen is the only thing that will satisfy you. These things always have flaws, it's the nature of the beast.

Anyway, don't take my sarcasm too seriously. My wife pays no attention to me, so I don't see why a stranger on an internet forum should.

Good luck of your quest for perfection. Genuinely.

The mythical 3186/7 clone movement.  It's beyond me what's taking so long.  They already have the base movement perfected in the SH3135.  There's only a handful of parts that are different to make it into a GMT movement.
