vonn91 1 Posted February 27, 2019 Hey guys! This might be a little too specific for this sub, but I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I recently purchased a broken Tudor Bronze that has a scratched dial. I'm getting a new dial from Toro, so that isn't the problem. When dissecting the watch and wearing a green sweater and putting on a green leather strap on the piece, I realized it would look stunning with a dial colour similar to the PAM 382. Now is there anybody who is able to do this paint job? I'm worried about the prints more than reproducing a similar colour. as just painting it would be something a lot of airbrushers could do. The following is printed: a Railtrack around the dial, the Tudor Shield and the "200m, 550ft" "Chronometer officially certified". Mind that the dial is bigger than regular Tudor dials as the watch comes as 43mm diameter. Best regards Vonn
BadPickle 2,749 Posted February 27, 2019 Helenarou custom print dials, I’m not sure if he’ll do that specifically, but you can ask for free. https://www.helenarou.com/index.html
Rx4Time 1,472 Posted February 27, 2019 There's a few companies in the US who do dial repainting and customizing (adding diamonds, etc). I'm not sure if they will reprint a rep dial, but it can't hurt to ask.
vonn91 1 Posted February 27, 2019 Actually I wrote a mail to some of the US companies but I was hoping there maybe would be someone in Europe doing stuff like this . Shipping to the US is as expensive as the complete dial is and I guess a custom paint job would come at least at 100$
GingerApple 7,300 Posted February 27, 2019 Hourses for courses, but I reckon the original dial is approximately 742 times nicer than the Panerai coloured one...... Each to their own though, good luck in your search!
