So it had a grand price of $79 shipped, but the coupon code of FB20 got it down to $63 ish shipped. So I popped down the CCard and 3 days later it arrived. So some quick pics. Very nice box and ownership materials for the price. Pretty nice jubilee bracelet, hollow end links. Stamped clasp much like a Seiko. So its a bit lightweight which makes it very comfortable for a 42mm. The case is solid, the lightness comes from a fairly thin caseback. Ceramic look bezel which is bidirectional and non-clicking. Its quartz so it ticks but that has never bothered me, particularly at this price point. Wife looked at it and said "oh, I like that." That is pretty rare. Ended up ordering the same Root beer model as above and also a Regatta Champion 395 in blue. Dont bother registering with the Messenger option which suggests a 25% discount, you only get 10%. I used the FB20 code which still works and gave 20% off overall. So $174 for both watches was discounted to $139 which is around £105 delivered. Got a holiday coming up and will be in salt water a fair bit up so both these watches can take the hit. Then I will try @Xpletiv suggestion and put the root beer on a dark leather Nero strap. @NCRich thanks again buddy. I am seriously going to have to stop coming on here for a while.
