hockysa 6 Posted March 7, 2019 Hey Forum, I'm hoping someone can help me out with a word or terminology for what I'm after. What I'm after is the build quality of a high-end replica without the branding if that makes sense. For example, I'm loving my Rolex Submariner rep just wondering if there's a variant where I could potentially get a version where the design is exactly the same but it just doesn't say Rolex. Either the branded parts are left blank or replaced with their own brand. Unsure if such a thing exists and wasn't even sure what to search for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Warm regards, Benjamin
deju 1,875 Posted March 7, 2019 Homage! Ginault springs to mind for your needs
Glaude 1,615 Posted March 7, 2019 Yup, Homage watches are what you are looking for, plenty of options in that category !
Adit 642 Posted March 7, 2019 I looked on DHGATE site yesterday (they advertise on RWI) and their photos of the Rolex reps had no logo or "writing", but this may be just for advertising reasons as their replica boxes similarly had no crown in the photos, either. GingerApple 7,288 Posted March 7, 2019 More importantly, does homage rhyme with fromage or is it said 'hommidge'?
Wriggles 12 Posted March 7, 2019 Dhgate sellers photoshop out the logo to avoid getting shutdown. Blank dials are called sterile

ShovelnTC 31 Posted March 8, 2019 To be honest it is actually hard to find Sterile or Homage watches that are of the same standard as the top shelf Reps. As mentioned the Ginault (I have one of these) is way up there if you're after a 5 digit sub but doesn't come cheap even with the usual discounts available. Also a few other Homage brands that are very nice but if you want a quality fit and finish and a sapphire crystal then expect to pay well above Rep prices for most. He didn't say that he wanted nothing on the dial, he said that either nothing or with another brand would be good Either the branded parts are left blank or replaced with their own brand. He said no branding. He said either, as Glaude correctly corrected. Smiley face.
